To The Moon, Allison!

Allison hosts “To The Moon, Allison,” a LIVE video podcast where she goes one on one with the top and trending authors in science fiction, fantasy, speculative fiction, and romance. The combination is odd, and so is the host. She’s been in conversation with both award-winning and bestselling authors, as well as debuts new to the genre, including Shelley Parker-Chan (SHE WHO BECAME THE SUN), Ryka Aoki (LIGHT FROM UNCOMMON STARS), David R. Slayton (TRAILER PARK TRICKSTER/The Adam Binder Trilogy), Jenny Holiday (DUKE, ACTUALLY), Chelsea Abdullah (THE STARDUST THIEF), James Rollins (THE STARLESS CROWN), and dozens of others, with new episodes each month. Check out her interview with Shelley Parker-Chan, (video on the right), and additional episodes on YouTube on the Vox Vomitus Channel or your favorite streaming platform (for audio only.)

Vox Vomitus

Faux Latin, roughly translating to “word vomit,” Vox Vomitus is the irreverent video podcast hosted by Jennifer Anne Gordon and Allison Martine. Recent guests have included Josh Malerman (BIRDBOX), Paul Tremblay (THE PALLBEARERS’ CLUB), May Cobb (THE HUNTING WIVES), Matt Ruff (LOVECRAFT COUNTRY), and Charlaine Harris (THE RUSSIAN CAGE/TRUE BLOOD). Join the Vox Vomitus “Vixens” every Wednesday at 3PM/6PM EST as they chat with authors and other creatives about some of their worst first drafts, books they should never have written, and their guilty pleasure reads.

All episodes can be found on the Vox Vomitus channel on YouTube.

Recent interview with Lauri Schoenfeld on The Inner Enlightenment Show, discussing Allison’s career as a debut author.

Guest Appearances

Allison has been interviewed for programs all over the globe, including visits with “Reader Seeks Romance,” “The Writer’s Stop,” “The Inner Enlightenment Show,” and “Behind the Pen,” and has been the subject of multiple author features, including the Bedside Book Review and InkWell Spills.

The Bourbon Books

The fourth installment of The Bourbon Books, CLIMB THE SALMON LADDER, was released May 2022, due to popular demand to make fan-favorite Jamie Wallace the leading lady. Five-star reviews are coming in, already demanding the next installment. One more book is in the works, plus a novella, which will cap the series.

Literary and Speculative Fiction

Writing as A.M. Hubbard, Allison has several completed manuscripts that defy genre expectations. Her first novel, THE GARIBALDI WALTZ, has been described as literary science fiction, with reality-bending elements and a strong, all-female cast. Her newest work, TERRA CONFICTURA, is an unexpected fantasy, exploring themes of self-worth, identity, and found family. She is currently working on a dystopian novel, which she describes as her darkest work to date. She is represented by Amy Collins with Talcott Notch Literary.
